Adhara Tea & Botanicals was founded to help promote tea culture, its benefits, and the rich history that makes tea the second most consumed beverage in the world. We’ve curated tea from around the globe and offer a variety of white tea, green tea, oolong tea, black tea, and herbal botanicals. We’re fascinated with the unique appearance, fragrance and flavor each tea has to offer, and we're exited to share our discoveries with you. Whether you're a seasoned tea drinker or new to tea, it's our goal to offer a variety that will compliment every palette.
MY PATH TO TEA CULTURE
I was first introduced to the concept of tea by my Mother. She learned how to brew herbal remedies from my Grandmother, and would often brew a decoction of herbs on the stove as a remedy for colds or a stomach ache. I always enjoyed the fragrance and taste of the mysterious brew that helped me recover.
Eventually I was introduced to loose leaf black tea and was instantly hooked. This initial experience eventually led me on a journey discovering other teas from around the world. I became fascinated by the many varieties that are produced, the culture, craftsmanship, terroir, and exotic history that’s connected to many of the famous teas we adore and cherish.
Today I enjoy teas from many parts of the world and value the ritual each and every day. I truly believe tea is more than a beverage, it’s a global culture that offers serenity to so many people.
