Huang Dao Ba is a remote village located in Jinggu County, Yunnan Province, China. This small village of 700 residents is around 100 km away from the county town of Jinggu. The old tea trees from this region are a unique smaller leaf variety than most tea leaves from other areas in Yunnan. The shape of the leaf resembles a cat ear, and the locals refer to it as Mao Er Duo Gong Cha (Cat Ear Tribute Tea) since it was also an emperors tribute tea during the Qing Dynasty.
